A Shocking Baby Costume with a Special Elephant Trunk

My wife purchased this elephant costume for our new baby's first Halloween. She thought it looked cute from the website picture. But when ours arrived and she put it on our daughter, it came with an extra not-so-subtle anatomy:

Here's more photos of the same thing so you know I'm not photoshopping this.

Now, I'm not one to think this is intentional, but it's quite mind-boggling that this went out the door and delivered to a newborn. This costume design has a serious design flaw and there was no way we were going to be wearing this on my daughter's first Halloween.

We got this costume from BabyCenter.com, so my wife dutifully filed a complaint but have not received any response from them for over a week. We want to get rid of this, but are hesitant to give this to other parents.

From the costume portrait on the website, it doesn't look so bad. It looks completely harmless. Who knew the shocking anatomy present if you get a better angle on that trunk.

That's a very interesting costume!
If they scaled it up I am sure they would have a very large market for it, here in the UK, for stag and hen parties.

It does make you wonder wether the designer was having a laugh but didn't have the balls (excuse the pun) to tell his bosses about the possible problems when they approved the product for production.

Wow...that is horribly funny! However, if I were in your spot, I'm the kind who would just find a way to cut off the unwanted 'extra's'. oO

On the bright side, you have the most adorable little girl I've ever seen. ^^
